  What a disappointing first experience with Edible Arrangements! We ordered an arrangement for my sister's 40th birthday, to be delivered ON her birthday to her work location. My sister threw us a curve ball and opted to work from home and take the afternoon off so I IMMEDIATELY called the Fairlawn location of Edible Arrangements and asked that they deliver to my sister, at her home, in the morning. I explained that I had the option to wait and have them deliver to my sister's work the following day but if they could deliver in the AM of her birthday, that would be the best option. The woman on the phone assured me that this would not be an issue and that my sister's arrangement would be on the first truck. I received a phone call/voicemail at 12:47 PM from the driver letting me know that he needed to speak to someone about the delivery that he was attempting for my sister. I immediately called the store in an attempt to work out the delivery, only to find out that they had "attempted delivery" at 11:40 AM (when my sister was positively at her house). I did not get a call until 1 hour after the first attempted delivery. Carrie, the individual that I spoke with at Edible Arrangements, was very rude and unprofessional. I asked her to speak with her manager in which she replied "She will be here on Thursday." Today is Tuesday. What bothers me the most is that I made a conscious decision to use Edible Arrangements in Fairlawn to help my sister celebrate her 40th birthday. I had a choice in locations but I selected Fairlawn. The basket of fruit cost $100. Not $10...$100. That is a LOT of money for fruit so I expect to receive top notch customer service for the premium that I am paying. I did call back and spoke with a nice young lady named Anna who said that there was no time written on my order which is why there was no urgency for delivery. She believes that the individual who was setting up the orders for the day must have been in a hurry and failed to write down a time on my order. It's unfortunate that they ruined our attempted "surprise" for my sister's birthday. For them, it was just another order but for me, it was the birthday gift that I chose to give my sister on her big day and Edible Arrangements in Fairlawn completely disappointed me.
